As a simple California girl, my sole desire is to serve Jesus. This desire led me to go on my first mission trip at the age of sixteen. Fast forward a few years, and as a twenty-four year old, my passion for missions burns with evermore fervor. What I witnessed on the mission field inspired me to get a degree in Child Development. I have traveled to numerous countries and I have witnessed firsthand how the lives of innocent children are claimed by poverty, child labor, abuse, malnutrition and human trafficking. I longed to fight for children's rights and to tackle social justice issues, but now that longing has turned into a lifelong calling. I invite you to join us on this journey as we share with you the stories of children whose voices have gone unheard and how you join the fight against social injustice.

My desire to serve was set aflame on my first mission trip to Honduras. I was just seventeen years old. Sure, I didn't know what to expect, but in the midst of playing with the children and receiving their embraces God began a work in my heart. Since that first day in Honduras God has broken my heart for the children and people whose cries for love and attention are not heard. This has compelled me to study social work in order to learn how to address social justice issues and how to build up communities to help create brighter futures. Thus, my desire is to spread the word about social injustices, to share each other's stories, and to join together and change the course of history for many who would otherwise have no future.
